Hi Reader,

Marybeth Redmond, director of community experience here, just back from Ireland! My siblings and I took our 85-year-old parents back to the "old country" for their final travel trip.

I had the opportunity to tour Northern Ireland too, hear from Protestants and Catholics who lived through "The Troubles," and to sign the Peace Wall in Belfast.

May inner peace grow so large within my being that it overflows its banks, rippling out, softening, tenderizing, reshaping, and enlivening the moments, people, and circumstances along my path.
— Marybeth Redmond, signing the Peace Wall in Belfast, Northern Ireland

Standing before a small section of 21 miles of wall which still divides the city, I reflected on what creates true and lasting peace.

It starts within my own heart and mind. With intentional cultivation and ongoing recommitment. And for me, that time-tested method is Centering Prayer.

Patterning in the motion of surrender to God opens in me into a profound, expansive inner peace (even though that's not the goal).

We've had a flurry of new members join the Closer Than Breath online community over the past two weeks. H-O-O-R-A-Y and a warm welcome to each of you!

I'm writing to remind members - both new and seasoned - of ALL the Centering Prayer Groups CTB hosts weekly.

Maybe you'd like to join a group for the first time or add an additional sit to your schedule. Let us know, and we'll send you a reminder email with Zoom link for each group, week to week.

See schedule below. We offer at least one group 5 days weekly.
